New Accounts Assistant Scheme by ICAI For Skill Development and Employability of CA

ICAI has introduced a new scheme that will promote employment and skill development for Chartered Accountants. The program intends to develop skill sets in accounting, tax compliance, and related subjects and develop bookkeeping, GST, and income tax compliance expertise.

The new scheme is launched by Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Hon'ble Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs, at ICAI Head Office, New Delhi. This program's main aim is to make the youth ready for employment by providing the required knowledge and skillset.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is India's national professional accounting body, authorized by Parliament to regulate India's chartered accounting profession. ICAI is the body that keeps track of the ongoing schemes and implements new schemes for the benefits of CAs. The ICAI Accounting Research Foundation (ICAI ARF) has been established as a core research body in the fields of accounting, auditing, capital markets, fiscal policy, monetary policy, and other related fields.

As per the words of Hon'ble Minister Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, this scheme will initially launch for the Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh and, with time, will spread over other parts of India. This scheme will help the students to get employment and education at a reasonable price. This scheme aims to boost the youth gaining knowledge and excel in the field of chartered accountancy.
